I am planning to participate on GSoC '08.

I just read the ideas list from
http://techbase.kde.org/index.php?title=Projects/Summer_of_Code/2008/Ideasand
I found one of them very interesting.
It is about an application to print images. It would allow to modify a page
preview (resizing images and changing their location).

It will also automatically resize images to fit a paper page, or will
automatically cut an image to print parts of them in several pages that
would be glued together after printed (something like a poster printing).
Finally it will be integrated with digiKam (or a similar application).

I am interested on this project, but it does not have an assigned mentor.

I would really like to implement it, as I do think it is a great idea ;)
Is anyone responsible for that idea? Is somebody willing to metor it?

I would like to think what do you think about it? Do you think it could be a
GSoC project?
