JRT,

  Your wording is too often just offensive.

  For example, if you want someone to help you, you don't say ' How
can I do this please?' or something similar, instead you write
"Comments on how to fix this would be appropriate."

  You say "As long as developers have too much ego invested in their
code, this makes it difficult to improve it."

  So where is your patch to improve it, that has been rejected because
of ego?  Or are you making things up?
