Nothing kind or unkind intended by an objective statement about how to 
best design things.  As long as developers have too much ego invested in 
their code, this makes it difficult to improve it.

I agree with those that think that the current (KDE3) profile code is a 
mess.

Sorry, but it doesn't work.  I did find a workaround, but it is a 
kludge.  You can define a new profile (name doesn't matter) which I 
called Browser and then replace (in your user account) both 
"filemanagement" and "webbrowsing" with links to the new profile.
