The Classmate will have distros installed on it, either Mandriva or SuSE based
ones through a third company which installs parental control, anti-theft and
such.
So we at KDE-Edu don't compile our apps on the Classmate. (I have a Classmate
and installs rpms on it)

However for low specs machines it would be useful if those expensive features
would be listed on techbase and how to compile without them.
Thanks in advance,

Anne-Marie
