Hello all:

Sorry if you received this message twice, but I tried sending it before
subscribing, so wasn't sure it was delivered.

I'm concerned about the kerberos functionality for samba kio. I think the
most relevant bug here is http://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=108324 which
is marked as assigned.

This bug included a patch by Gérald Macinenti dated 2005-09-01, this patch
seems to be never applied. Fortunately, Dirk Mueller (mueller) commited
revision 457728, which included kerberos functionality.

This commit involves some important lines at the end of the
svn://anonsvn.kde.org/home/kde/branches/KDE/3.5/kdebase/kioslave/smb/kio_smb_auth.cpp
file, but I haven't seen these relevant identificators into another part of
the kdebase source.

Is there anything special I should do for samba kio to include the kerberos
authenticating functionality?

I should note that those identifiers are SMB_CTX_FLAG_USE_KERBEROS and
SMB_CTX_FLAG_FALLBACK_AFTER_KERBEROS.

   Thanks and regards,
