Hi,

on developing an applet for kicker, it's called kbandwidth. I experienced that
kicker calls the widthForHeight function much more often than necessary. For
example, everytime when one switches to another deskop view. You can try this
out, by modifying an applet to printout something upon a call to this
functions.

My applet resizes some images everytime those functions are called, so this
imposes an unnecessary overhead.

I could fix this on the level of my applet, but that would imply rather ugly
hacking.

Maybe someone can comment on that?

Best regards,
	Hans Dembinski
