Hey all,
One of the "projects" the HCI working group talked about during our last
meeting was creating a collection of HCI case studies which cover project
activities or inititives involving usability, accessibility,
translation/i18n, and/or visual design.
Case studies are different from the "usability" reports you sometimes see
posted on websites and blogs which only report study results and provide
recommendations. Case studies describe how the team worked together on an
activity to accomplish a goal. These types of studies are valuable for
developers and HCI specialists to share because they can inform others how we
work together, and help us learn from the good and bad.
If you or your project have been involved in some kind of HCI-related
activity, I would like to hear about it (so we can talk in more detail).
Please do not send me complaints or stories about this one time on some
mailing list how this person said some usability guru said ... I want to hear
about serious attempts (successful or not).
Cheers!
~ Celeste
