Hi Craig,

In such a case I then use kdbg instead. (http://www.kdbg.org/)
Although I use kdevelop for debugging mostly there are certain things that 
work better with kdbg.
Very valuable is the feature that Qt3 and Qt4 QStrings can be displayed.
