hello,

i've just downloaded the kde 3.4 beta2, configure seemed to run smooth
and then make and make install went alright (well, i thought it did!!)

when i came to start the new kdevelop, the splash screen came on, but
then it would quickly crash and close..


But now my kdevelop 3.3 seems to be damaged!! :-(

i can open my old kdevelop, but most of the menu items say "No Text!"
and alot of the menu items are missing...

what have i done wrong? ... i thought kdevelop 3.4 would install well
if i installed into another directory... is there some common libs
that they use...

how can i clean things up? .. i'm not so concerned with kdev3.3, as
long as i can get kdev3.4 runnning smoothly..

any help is greatly appreciated.
