In Kopete, I'm currently developping a new chatwindow(or message view) style 
engine in XHTML+CSS that use the Adium(http://www.adiumx.com/) message view 
format. Adium uses WebCore on Mac OS X for style rendering.

For contact photo/images, I use the image path as photo source, instead of 
embed a data base64 image which is CPU consuming to produce. 
However, when using image path, if the contact update his photo during the 
chat but the filename is the same, on a new message KHTMLPart still use the 
original photo when the chat window was launched. 

So my question is: Is there a way to force update of image cache on KHTMLPart. 
I don't want to be forced to use embed base64 image which slow down my 
engine. I want to continue to use image path because they are faster :)
