I found the problem here.  I had the nvidia-glx libraries installed, but not
the -dev package.  Thanks!

I rebuilt from scratch after adding the nvidia-glx hoping that it might fix
this, but no luck.  I manually added -lqt-mt to the build line and that
didn't help.
