And would you be interested in watching someone solving puzzles ?

To you, yes (and then again, if it was your job rather than your hobby you'd 
probably be less enthusiastic about it :-) ). The point was, can it be 
interesting for others to watch ? I very much doubt that.

Coding can be fun (it's still fun for me, although not always), but that's 
something you'll have to discover by yourself, if you have the right set of 
mind (i.e. if you're a geek). Watching or reading reports about others doing 
it won't make anyone want to try. I've yet to see a manager wanting to fire 
up an IDE after reading an activity report from his subordinates.

Bottom line : CS is dull, unless you're a geek, in which case you won't need 
any "spectator sport" to get into it.
