OK thanks for that -- can you allay my ignorance, by telling me why make
should have been looking for a .la file when compiling.. does this mean
that the make file needs some review.. if so which make file??
I confess I do not understand the process as clearly as I should so if you
have time to tell me I would appreciuate if not thanks for your advice
anyway!!
