Hi all

I was kinda looking if anybody knows how to do a simple

HEAD /index.html HTTP/1.1

in HTTPS (ssl)

I need to verify a url inside my app and don't want to rely on external tools.  
I am connecting directly to a socket.

I already implemented this for HTTP.
In the case I get a status code of 400 (bad request) I want to try the https 
protocol.
