FWIW, those versions are "ancient", it's not representative that users have
those. I would rather say the other way around: it's surprising your current
setup works.

Can't comment, but when reproducible, standalone test cases exists and it's
clear it's in libxml/xslt, they should be submitted[1] to the developers, who
to my experience always are happy to fix them,
