Uh, well it involved coding changes and a change in name too, so I don't think 
you'll be able to do that.

The plugins have only existed in kdebase since around the middle of December.  
Still want uninstall.desktop or does this magic somehow only install over it 
if it already exists?

install-data-local: uninstall.desktop 
     $(mkinstalldirs) $(DESTDIR)$(kde_datadir)/kmyapp 
     $(INSTALL_DATA) $(srcdir)/uninstall.desktop 
$(DESTDIR)$(kde_datadir)/kmyapp/oldfilename.desktop

What about the libs and rc file?  Seems like I recall some sort of perl file 
that can do that?
