Hmmm, well if by "extensive plugin architecture" you mean put bash script in
directory then yes, I have been putting together scripts/ a tool to find
problem in KDE's source (well any qt source for that matter). As for tips
files... what do you mean. What should be looked for? What problems do they
have?

You can check it out here. It contains lot of links and tons of info about
what it is. The scripts are in kdenonbeta/kdetestscript (also linked in the
report)

P.S. It is kind of disturbing how many kde source files don't have a copyright
in them. And from what I understand, the AUTHORS file doesn't count unless
explicitly stated in each file like: "Copyright: all names listed in AUTHORS
file". Also "Author: foobar <bla@foo.com>" doesn't count either sense I know
in the past I have done work for companies and even though I am the Author I
do not hold the copyright to the code so I have always listed both me as
author and the company as copyright holder. So if any source files from your
application is listed *please* updated its header with copyright if it is
currently missing them (and fix other problems too :).

P.P.S Feel free to help out with more test scripts or making any of the ones
listed in the TODO.
