Well the tool in the article you referenced sent random, but valid, input to 
the program.  Although I agree that it would be nice for a program to not 
crash under an assault of random Qt signals, I think that would rather 
unrealistic.  Some signals might not be emitted from user input at all (for 
example, a signal emitted only on startup), so I don't think it's fair to 
subject a program to that. ;-)

A program that would duplicate that tool for Qt would be a very nice testing 
tool however.
