Here is the fail:

/home/kdedev/src/kde/kdebase/kcontrol/kfontinst/lib/FontEngine.cpp: In member
   function `bool CFontEngine::openFontT1(const QString&, short unsigned int)':
/home/kdedev/src/kde/kdebase/kcontrol/kfontinst/lib/FontEngine.cpp:1256: error: operands
   to ?: have different types
/home/kdedev/src/kde/kdebase/kcontrol/kfontinst/lib/FontEngine.cpp: In member
   function `bool CFontEngine::openFontTT(const QString&, short unsigned int)':
/home/kdedev/src/kde/kdebase/kcontrol/kfontinst/lib/FontEngine.cpp:1427: error: operands

make[4]: *** [FontEngine.lo] Error 1

Th two lines are equal:

QString psName=famIsPs ? itsFamily : FT_Get_Postscript_Name(itsFt.face);

I'm not a C++ guru but the sintax seems OK to me.
