ldconfig -p shows:
libXfont.so (libc6) => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXfont.so
libXext.so.6 (libc6) => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.so.6
libXext.so (libc6) => /usr/X11R6/lib/libXext.so
This really bugs me (no pun inteded). Interestingly, this line in the
Makefile seems to be the culprit, although I do not know why:
LIB_QT = -lqt-mt $(LIBZ) $(LIBPNG) -lXext $(LIB_X11) $(LIBSM) -lpthread
For example, if I MOVE the definition for -lXext to the end of the line,
the compiler will complain it cannot find -lX11. I wonder if there is
something about the LIBPNG variable that could be messing me up?
LIBPNG = -lpng -lz -lm
-lz looks like it is listed twice in the line?
Oh well.
