Yes, that report could have been better. But, it did clearly describe a
specific problem that someone could have tested.

One of the good things about Bugzilla is that it is a forum. If necessary
there can be a discussion with the bug reporter till it is fully
understood. Unfortunately dismissing a bug out of hand makes such a
discussion very difficult. Such a discussion can also aid the reporter in
refining his report. These things did happen in the case of bug #73379.
However it would have gone better if that had been the intent of the
developer.

The bug remains open because I morphed it into a new one that probably is
in the same piece of code -- it is actually the same problem, no:
"Overwrite" button in the widget.

It is still not possible to "go back" to a backup file. If you RMB the
backup file and remove the suffix (e.g. the "~" or ".bak") it will not
overwrite the file without the suffix because there is no: "Overwrite"
button; you must delete the file first and then rename the backup.

IIUC, you understand that a regression like this is very irritating to the
average user.

I remain very puzzled as to why I was the first to report the bugs which I
reported in the last few days. Am I the only one that saw them? Or, the
only one that realized that some of them were very important?
