I just got done with ksearchapplet v0.2.  Now it's off to bed before my wife 
kills me. ;-)

I tweaked the Makefile.am file in /pics until it installed google.png to an 
applet-specific data directory, and then changed the code to try loading from 
there instead.  If that fails for some reason, it will try to load the 
generic "html" icon (although I could've done that better... I just tried it 
and I got the 32x32 version o_O).  Anyways, that SHOULD fix the icon problem.

The only other change was removal of dead code (trying to adjust the size 
properly) since I had already hard-coded in the values.
