i'd say "No". the speed/resources loss for such a "feature" that would really 
be an easy way to break your applications, cause greater tech support costs 
and which would be used by only a tiny, tiny segment of users simply isn't 
worth it.

for main window layouts of sidebars, readerviews, etc... well, there is room 
for improvement there (i hate dockwindows =), and this is something that 
XMLUI could be very good at. 

but not widget-level layouting... =)
