I also have a problem with starting audiocd:/
I'm using KDE-CVS and qt-copy.

The devices seem to be OK:
$ ls -l /dev/s?0
crw-rw-rw-    1 root     disk      21,   0 Sep  9  2002 /dev/sg0
brw-rw-rw-    1 root     disk      11,   0 Sep  9  2002 /dev/sr0
crw-rw----    1 root     disk       9,   0 Sep  9  2002 /dev/st0

In the ~/.xsession-errors I only see :
konqueror: Job 0x87f2e08 is about stating audiocd:/
kdeinit: Got EXEC_NEW 'kio_audiocd' from launcher.
kdeinit: PID 2159 terminated.
konqueror: ERROR: ERROR 3: couldn't create slave : Unable to create io-slave:
klauncher said: Error loading 'kio_audiocd'.
konqueror:
konqueror: KRun::abort 0x87a6438 m_showingError=false

I'm not sure what the problem is.
Also if I try to start anything using klauncher ( with or without arguments )
it only out puts :
WARNING: Already running!
QPixmap: Cannot create a QPixmap when no GUI is being used
