The devices seem to be OK: $ ls -l /dev/s?0 crw-rw-rw- 1 root disk 21, 0 Sep 9 2002 /dev/sg0 brw-rw-rw- 1 root disk 11, 0 Sep 9 2002 /dev/sr0 crw-rw---- 1 root disk 9, 0 Sep 9 2002 /dev/st0 In the ~/.xsession-errors I only see : konqueror: Job 0x87f2e08 is about stating audiocd:/ kdeinit: Got EXEC_NEW 'kio_audiocd' from launcher. kdeinit: PID 2159 terminated. konqueror: ERROR: ERROR 3: couldn't create slave : Unable to create io-slave: klauncher said: Error loading 'kio_audiocd'. konqueror: konqueror: KRun::abort 0x87a6438 m_showingError=false I'm not sure what the problem is. Also if I try to start anything using klauncher ( with or without arguments ) it only out puts : WARNING: Already running!
