I didn't say it should be default, I said "print to default printer" which 
should be a configurable toobal option. 
My guess is that the vast majority of users has or use only one printer 
regulary andit makes no sense to confirm that the print button is not pressed 
acciedentaly. 
(BTW KDE can configure kmail and korganizer to delete messages and files 
without confirmation, so I do not see why it shouldn't be implemented.)
