Subject:    How to modify a existing project

Hi, all,

I got an open source KDE project, I am going to add
some functions, how can I build the whole project? I
modifed the configure.in in top directory and
Makefile.am in some directories. I use the following
steps in the top directory:

1) aclocal
2) autoconf
3) automake --gnu
4) perl admin/am_edit
5) ./configure
6) make

Am I right? Or is there something I missed. Or is
there other good methods to do?

Thanks for a lot. This is my first KDE project.
