There are two implementations, one in libkonq and one in kicker-buttons.
I havent tested libkonq (KDesktop and Konqueror), but the one in kicker should 
still work. You just need to enable animation and deactivate zooming.

If it still doesnt work. Send me your test case and I'll try to fix it.
