By then kde 3.2 will hopefully be almost near to release and this problem will 
go away :)

At the time of the 3.1 work KAudiocreator only worked on linux.  Now it is 
supported on more.

Good thing I don't do that anymore :)  What would solve all of our problems 
would be to backport the head branch of kaudiocreator (which is stable right 
now), but that can't be done because it also requres the new kde cddb libary 
and kautoconfig* to be backported.
