Yes.. I got that.. but what I meant was that this is not a "true" solution.. 
What if I have a developmental version and a real version both installed (in 
fact, I do have such a case here). I want to modify the ui.rc in my 
developmental version .. those changes should not affect the stable version 
that I have!

I could think of many more cases where this solution can create problems.
