After reading my last post I realize I may have come off a little rude, so I'm 
gonna try to be a little nicer in this one.

But again, I don't see the problem.  One old and still useful way to battle 
complexity is by sensible organization.  A common one used for many different 
types of problems in computers is a tree.  There are many more out there.  
The trick is finding a sensible and easy to use organizational structure to 
put all of those options into, not avoiding the problem by not including them 
at all.  Avoiding the problem, after all, is what this is all about, and is 
rarely the best solution.
