Hi,

 Klipper has a strange behaviour in HEAD: if I use the keyboard to select the 
below text (in Kate) with Shift-Left Arrow, I get:

Select this text


Result:
Select this text
Select this tex
Select this te
Select this t
Select this 
Select thi

..and so.

As I cannot reproduce in KMail/KHTML I would think that Kate is working too 
much and saves the selected text in clipboard even if it is not needed.
