Not sure of this.
Either write some wrappers to convert the needed functionality of glib using 
QT. Or let the binary link statically with glib. This way glib functions can 
be used, but the end user doesn't need the library.
On the other side: When the end user gets a precompiled version of your
KGnuCash, the distribution (or rpm/deb/emerge/apt) should make sure that glib 
will be installed if there is this dependency.
I see no problem with this.
