huuu, i'm tired, i wanted to say :

I've done an implementation with KMetaFileInfo (not on cvs for the
momment). 2 things :

  1/ The Idea seems great, since I now could have only one item type
    for all files and not one per file type.

  2/ The problem, is that mp3 kfile-plugin does'nt support id3v2 tags, and
    that's annoying, for me it's really bad :/
    do you know if it would be implemented soon ?
