Subject:    KDevelop 2.1.3: cannot "make messages and merge"

I added a Dutch language file to my brand new project (using the appropriate 
KDevelop menu)  and tried the "make and merge" option. Unfortunately this 
gives an error: "cvs.sh not found".
In the project's options I set version control to NONE, so why is it 
complaining about a missing cvs.sh ?????
Anyone?
