sorry , i forgot to mention that i am using kde-2.1.1 .

when i create a new instance of kfiledialog , nothing shown , so i did
something like this :
myfiledialog->getSaveFileName(.....);
befor that , i sat will the filters i want with ->setFilter(..) , but non of
them appear ,so i must
write them again in the getSaveFileName().
and i called currentFilter after calling getSaveFileName()

i think i should try to use myfiledialog->show() insted of calling
getSaveFileName
 , so will compile it again ( take 20 min ) and see the result.

thanks
