with the patch the window get more motion events and the windows below get
more expose events - so they redraw more (i'm not sure qt compress expose
event). the redarw speed is likely influenced from the card/driver speed -
at home with geforce3 i see no redraw problems, but at work with an ati rage
pro lt it worse (though quite good at 16 bit depth - better then winXp on
the same computer).

moving complex application like konqueror to back-buffer should solve all
those problems (at the cost of memory usage...)
