I'm new to dcop and an absolutly newbie to multithreading so I may be totally
wrong in my aproach, please correct me... (I may not need multithreading at
all).
I need to perform to tasks at the same time and that's why I think I need
multithreading.
One is being a dcop service, 'listeting' to posible calls, when a call
arrives, the data is procesed and add to some lists (the shared data), this
could be the list of text to speech or list of commands to run (play, pause,
stop, back, next, etc, etc).
And the other part would be in charge of procesing the lists, in a continues
loop, checking all the time if new data is there and when it's there, it will
be processed (spoken).
So, would it be right to have two threads for this ?
Making two class, one the dcop service and the other one the processing class,
isntantiate both and run both ?
Thank you.
