This isn't the first time this has been proposed (see
http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-devel&m=99036806931151&w=2, for example). I also
proposed a similar thing a little while ago
(http://lists.kde.org/?l=kde-devel&m=101406310405088&w=2). A number of
people pointed out there is already webmin for this kind of thing. That
said, I would still be interested in colloborating on such a project if you
are willing.
