i'd like to point out that while there are those who are quite vocal about 
disliking any change to the clibpoard from kde2, there are those who quietly 
despised the functionality referred to as "copy and paste" in kde2.

if you want to make this a popularity contest, then make it a real popularity 
contest and survey a statistically significant number of random KDE2 users on 
the matter. the results would be enlightening.

personally, i'm already enjoying and getting a lot more out of the kde3 
clipboard than i ever did with the kde2 one, despite a few remaining bugs in 
it. and no, i'm not a windows guy nor do i think kde is perfect.
