I don't think that'll solve it...I tried at first to build it with
objprelink, which worked well on itself. When I wanted to compile Qt again
(optimized this time) I noticed the -platform switch to let it actually use
objprelink. With -platform linux-g++-objprelink Qt didn't want to compile, so
I did without it. As I supposed the same problems would appear with KDE, I
did that without object prelinking too. Makes no difference. I suspect gcc's
athlon-optimizations, because I used them too. What exact options did you
use? I used -march=athlon and -mcpu=athlon, as well as things like
-funroll-all-loops, I don't suppose that last one to be buggy. Anyone who
knows about problems with gcc and athlon-optimizing? I sent a strace +
drkonqi-backtrace in private mail to Waldo Bastian, maybe he knows what's
going on. Any help appreciated, twm is not exactly the WM I like :).

My two cents:
I got this same bunch of errors for a month or two, any time I would try to
run CVS code. Finally I went through the scripts I use to configure and
compile the modules and took out objprelink, as well as my gcc Athlon
optimizations, and at last it worked (not noticeably slower than KDE2
either). So maybe just try removing any optimization. Also, right at this
moment I am building everything WITH gcc optimizations but without
objprelink to see if objprelink is the culprit (which I have a hunch about).
I'll let you know how it turns out.
