I personally find the X clipboard more productive in almost all cases. 
The only case I can think of that this is not true is when I close an 
app and another apps stuff is on the clipboard. Klipper is very useful 
in this situation as it allows pulling of the right contents. So maybe 
Klipper should manage the X Clipboard such that it remains consistent 
and does not rely on programs to supply the copied data?
