Hi,

I noticed one oddity which troubled me quite a bit: If mimeType() isn't called 
in the ::get method of an IOSlave, konqueror will just hang forever.

How to reproduce:

finger://test/test  <-- hangs forever
finger://user  <-- works

The fix would be to add 

mimeType("text/html");

to kio_finger.cpp but I think other IOSlaves may run into this problem as 
well, so it should rather be fixed somewhere in kdelibs...
