Doh! Sorry about that.

I have actually been using Kate, which I find very nice for programming C++ 
and PHP/HTML. I use vim quite a lot as well, but unfortunately on SuSE 7.3 
the backspace key doesn't work for some reason in vim, and I haven't had time 
to try and work out what's wrong :(

emacs is always something that has scared me ;)
