I don't know if this still aplies to your version of KDevelop but you can try 
the things I do in this case:
Assuming you saved the .ui file somewhere below the project directory.
- open a console and change into that directory
- #> uic -o mydialogname.h mydialogname.ui
#> uic -o mydialogname.cpp -i mydialogname.h mydialogname.ui

- then close the reopen the project in KDevelop and add the three files to 
the project ("files" tab in the tree view widget)

KDevelop should now generate the correct rules.
