You can be quite sure they are :-) My KDE is also alpha1, because I didn't 
have time to update my CVS since (crappy ISP - can't CVS up while I or 
someone else here is surfing), but I am quite confident this is fixed since a 
while. The kde-cvs list can be of quite a help here :-)

Personally I'd rather checkout a recent CVS copy. Bugs in CVS are _unfixed_ 
bugs, so your work is much more valueable there. Anyway, I think you just 
found the problem. So, good luck with your second try, hope this one doesn't 
break!
