Why make things so difficult?

AFAIK the FreeDesktop policy is *very* liberal and will host just
about *any* project.  Being hosted under FD.o does not imply any kind
of endorsement but will gain the project visibility for people
interested in interoperability.

So IMHO, no need to split things...
