Well, the script and the modified .desktop-files still have to be done.

the script should basically do the following:

#ioslavewrapper.script
#!some_scripting_lang

if $1.isLocal()
   $2 $1
else // it's a remote url
   mounted_url=$IOSLAVE_GATEWAY_MOUNTPOINT/$1.replace("://",":__")
   $2 mounted_url

and then call it like 

ioslavewrapper fish://you@foo/home/you/blah.txt swriter

or something like this.
