Ralf,
I've got that message from ksplash, kdeinit, knotify and ksmserver but the message \
has gone after I install the kde-xlib. Even too slow but I was happy to see the \
splash screen. Hoping that I could improve the performance so I download \
kde-x-1.2.tar.bz2 and install it from cygwin setup. Now I've got new error message \
from xinit that it could not found libX11.dll in my path so I cannot get into KDE. \
I'm sure that /usr/X11R6/bin and /opt/kde2/bin is in my path. Is the latest library \
remove this file?

usr/lib/libpcreposix.a
usr/man/man1/pcregrep.1
usr/man/man3/pcre.3
usr/man/man3/pcreposix.3
Is it any way to build the dll from those files or what?
