Ralf,
I've got that message from ksplash, kdeinit, knotify and ksmserver but =
the message has gone after I install the kde-xlib.
Even too slow but I was happy to see the splash screen. Hoping that I =
could improve the performance so I download kde-x-1.2.tar.bz2 and =
install it from cygwin setup.
Now I've got new error message from xinit that it could not found =
libX11.dll in my path so I cannot get into KDE. I'm sure that =
/usr/X11R6/bin and /opt/kde2/bin is in my path.
Is the latest library remove this file?

Is it any way to build the dll from those files or what?
